Maury Donnelly & Parr, Inc. (MDP) was  founded in 1875 and has operated as an agent and broker in Baltimore since its inception.  MDP is one of the oldest insurance firms in the mid-atlantic region.  Our headquarters is a recognized historic building located in the heart of downtown Baltimore.  We started in the marine industry serving trade businesses and other mercantile transactions through the Port of Baltimore.  Our operation continues to grow and expand over the years.

Today, the organization is a diverse agency with 5 offices around the country, serving the needs of  thousands of clients.  Our staff of insurance professionals are highly trained and experienced in all facets of the insurance industry.  We represent, as an agent, many different insurance companies and we also work in a brokerage capacity with numerous organizations that provide specialty products, as well as excess placements.  We have insurance licenses in 48 states.

MDP has the capacity to handle insurance needs for every insured.  Our customer base is varied and ranges from publicly traded companies, nutraceutical manufacturers, real estate developers, ski resorts, telecommunications companies to small contractors and main street businesses, as well as clients with specialized risk management needs and operations throughout the country.  Six years ago, we formed a joint venture with The National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, D.C. to act as their insurance resource and provide insurance solutions for more than 250,000 members throughout the United States.
