Summary

Under the guidance of the Vice President of Human Resources, the incumbent will provide comprehensive administrative support across various HR functions, including HRIS management, compliance functions, benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, and ad hoc projects to delivery effective HR services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer employee inquiries on a range of topics, including benefits, compensation, and policy interpretation.
  • Organizing and maintaining HR Systems, timeout system, and personnel files ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all employee records.
  • Ensure compliance by assisting with audits, government reporting, and working with vendors to keep all company insurance & business licenses current.
  • Support benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, claims issues, 401k processing, record-keeping, and communication with brokers and employees.
  • Facilitate employee engagement by conducting surveys, executing recognition programs, and other life events.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees through orientations, benefits
    enrollment, and other support as needed.
  • Perform other duties related to HR administrator responsibilities as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the department.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, three to five years related experience, or
    equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills required: Proficient in Microsoft 365, HRIS experience a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Occasionally required to stand/walk; frequently required to sit; continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity and to talk, hear, and see with close vision and ability to adjust focus. Normal office environment.

Pay Range

$50,000 – $60,000

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MDP, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is presented within this posting.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
